In a world where associations are challenged to stay relevant, grow membership, and deliver meaningful value, success is no longer defined by numbers alone - it’s defined by impact, influence, and significance.

In this energizing and motivating keynote, Bruce W. Waller invites association executives and professionals to step into the driver’s seat of their leadership journey. This session challenges attendees to clearly define what success looks like for themselves and their organizations, build powerful membership connections, and take intentional action that moves their association - and their career - forward with purpose.

More About the Session

Key Concepts & Learning Takeaways

  1. Define Success: From Achievement to Significance
Success isn’t just hitting membership targets, increasing revenue, or launching programs - it’s about creating value that lasts. Bruce challenges leaders to redefine success by aligning their personal purpose with their association’s mission, transforming day-to-day work into meaningful impact for members, volunteers, and communities.
  2. Develop Your Influence: Lead Beyond Your Title
True leadership in associations isn’t positional, it’s relational. Learn how to expand your influence by serving others, sharing your voice, and becoming a trusted connector and advocate. Influence grows when leaders focus on contribution, collaboration, and consistency.
  3. Network with Intention: Strengthen Membership Connections
Associations thrive on relationships. This session reframes networking as connection with purpose, teaching leaders how to deepen member engagement, foster trust, and create authentic relationships that drive retention, growth, and long-term loyalty.
  4. ACT Because Action Changes Things
Ideas don’t move associations… action does. Bruce introduces the ACT mindset:
    • Awareness of where you are
    • Clarity on where you’re going
    • Taking intentional steps to get there

Momentum comes from action, and action creates progress, growth, and significance.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Renewed motivation to lead with purpose
  • Practical strategies to strengthen connections
  • A clearer definition of success for yourself and your association
  • The confidence to move from intention to action

This keynote will motivate, energize, and inspire you to move your association forward—and move yourself into the lane of significance, where leadership creates lasting value.
Buckle up.
