Keynote:

Using Futures-Thinking to Propel Your Association Forward
The Great Resignation, burnout, and apathy are impacting your association’s ability to deliver meaningful programs and services. Add in shifts in expectations from younger workers and the rise of non-traditional career pathways, making it harder than ever to find and retain the human resources needed to meet your mission. How do you create a flexible and resilient organizational culture to overcome these challenges? By understanding the trends underpinning these long-range drivers of change. This interactive session highlights the value of leading with a future-focused mindset and explores key forecasts impacting your paid and volunteer workforce.

Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to better prepare for future disruptions and emerging trends by embracing the leadership competency of futures-thinking.
2. Participants will review drivers of change to strategically engage members, volunteers, and staff.
3. Participants will identify new approaches to managing their paid and volunteer workforce.
